These were a total disappointment. Even thought I coated the dogs with flour as stated, the batter unfurled like a blanket on top of the hot dog. The flavor was just ok. I am bummed. Not sure where I went wrong taking the other reviews into consideration…

I will have to try again. The batter was thicker than I think it should have been. About half of them, I added a little water to. I don’t know if it was me or the recipe. I think they needed a little more sugar also. This is my first try at corndogs and maybe I was expecting more of a storebought flavor.

Loved this recipe! I tried a different recipe recently and had issues with it. This recipe was perfect. No issues with this one. The flavor of the batter was awesome. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!

Ohhh, can’t wait to try these! They’re soo expensive in the stores and I can use turkey or better quality hot dogs than premade offers.
