Janicet- Thank you so much for coming back and letting me know you tried it! I am so happy it worked for you and that you can have your flavor and health too. Sounds really good and the vanilla almond milk is a great idea. One more convert away from the fake Int'l Delight is enough for me :)

I made this using Silk brand Vanilla flavored Almond Milk, agave syrup and I used all vanilla extract since you recommended that. I wanted a vanilla flavored coffee creamer. YUM!! I think I found an awesome substitute for International Delight. Thank you!!

Hi Jant,
Use the same recipe as the Coconut and sub the extract for vanilla extract. Plus if you like it really vanilla taste than add a vanilla bean pod that has been sliced in half, scrape out the inside into the pot, add the bean too and steep it for 30 minutes after removing from the heat. I make that one quite often and will be posting soon. I just posted the Holiday Pie Edition because of the timing with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up. Winter Edition coming soon! Which will include a Vanilla…but is exactly what I just explained. Good luck! And yes- as a former Int’l Delight adict to another….homemade is so much better and healthier!

Do you have a recipe for Vanilla Creamer? I have made several attempts in the past on my own but they came out awful. I just have to get off the International Delight. Seriously, I buy a 1/2 gallon carton of the stuff every week. For me...Coffee is not coffee unless it has Vanilla Creamer. Help!!!
