What a great recipe! I made this after thanksgiving to try, and I was short on time so I didn’t add the egg and bake for an hour…I just ate it right after I mixed everything in the electric mixer, and it was really good! I used two really large cloves, and the garlic taste seemed a little overwhelming (and I love garlic). Maybe it had to do with the fact that I didn’t bake it, either way I will be using this recipe, and I’ll bake it next time!

This was SO perfect for Thanksgiving. I made it the day before and baked it the morning of, yet it was one of the best dishes that afternoon. Smelled amazing with the garlic!

Great recipe for mashed potatoes! Perfect to make ahead — I actually recommend doing just that. It was delicious when I tasted for seasoning, and simply wonderful when I baked it two days later. Creamy, yummy, with just a hint of tang from the cream cheese — dreamy with gravy or butter, but it really doesn’t need either. Thank you for the recipe!

These are great for a special occasion for every night dinner! LOVED Them! They had a ton of flavor. This was the first year of success with mashed potatoes. I will be using the recipe in the future.

Wow, these sound delicious! I neve go for the mashed potatoes, because they seem so bland. But these seem to have added flavor and extra body! Thanks for a great idea
