This is an old stand by for our house. Thanks for putting it here. It's hard to keep the recipes you most frequently use all together for holiday baking. I've got a 3" binder that I keep all of my recipes in........this is a good site to use the recipe box. You just add your recipes to it and come back to them when you need them. Brilliant idea!!!!

My recipe also calls for 1 stick of butter. I use 1 package of choc chips, 1/2 cup peanut butter (Peter Pan!), 1 stick of butter. This goes into one full box of Crispix cereal. I use a paper sack to shake it up with about 2 cups of powdered sugar. I agree with letting the chocolate harden first. I just leave the lid off the container I store it in for a bit. Otherwise it will get stale and soggy really quick if you close it up warm.

This is another holiday must in our home. After shaking in the powdered sugar, I spread it out on a cookie sheet and let the chocolate harden before storing. The recipe can be doubled.
