		<description><![CDATA[that is exactly right - the alcohol preserves the rasperries!  They shrink and break up a little because of the alcohol, but they stay fresh.  I haven&#039;t tried it with other berries, but I think other berries like blackberries or loganberries would definitely work.  I&#039;m not sure about how it would be with other berries, maybe you would have to squish blueberries a bit before you put them in the jars so the juices come out. Hope that helps!]]></description>
