Simple and tasty! I use 8 lemons, 6 1/2 c water, and 1 cup sugar. Works out great for those of us that like a sour refreshment!

I shouldn’t be surprised that this really is as good as everyone else said. It was perfectly tart and sweet. A definate keeper in my house!

Excellent! Very refreshing. To compensate for it being a little bit sweeter than I prefer, I thinly sliced half a lemon and added that to the pitcher. It balanced the sweet and tart perfectly!

I taste-tested this recipe against another lemonade recipe. The other recipe involved making a simple syrup (boiling water and sugar, then cooling for an hour) before mixing in the lemon juice. I THOUGHT the other more involved recipe would beat out this recipe (that took all of 5 minutes to make), but that was NOT the case! This recipe won the taste-test, hands down. Sometimes, simpler is better.

To get more juice, stick the lemons in the microwave for about 5ish seconds. Works like a charm!
