Mmmmm…we make this with bourbon too! It is wonderful. Last summer I also did a ‘fiesta’ version: I subbed limeade for the lemonade, tequila for the booze, and used a hibiscus tea.

Oh, we make this during the summer, too! An alternate is to make Bourbon slushes (just use Jack Daniels or another good bourbon instead of the Amaretto). Great recipe.
