The cake was excellent; so moist and flavorful. I made cupcakes and baked 28 min. I was concerned about the 325 degree temp. but it worked out perfectly. I used a different frosting recipe, but next time I’ll try this one. Will definitely use this recipe again.

A moist cake with a superb frosting. I used a strawberry cake mix and added strawberry pudding. I chose to make a three layer cake so I could have an excuse to pile on the frosting. Served it on Father’s Day and received many compliments. Thanks jolieo for a great recipe.

so this cake sounds really good and i love the idea of the frosting i was wondering about making it a two layer cake and using that frosting as a filling ?? what do you think and i am wondering just so i am clear you leave the pudding package (whats going in the cake mix) in powder form correct??

You have to try these……..they are great
I used a spice cake mix and pumpkin spice pudding mix
( from the holidays ) in the cake part. Everyone wants to know when we can make them again !!

These cupcakes are so moist…..and a snap to make
I got 24 cupcakes and baked them about 28 – 30 mins
