Firstly, unwrap the caramels ahead of time if you can – it takes a surprisingly long time and secondly, if you’re using parchment paper (as I did), be careful to flatten it as much as you can and to seal off the sides and corners ass best you can with the final topping as the caramel bubbles over. All that said, it was very easy to make!
