Didn’t get the right toffee consistency – and crackers layers split apart when I was breaking into pieces. Not sure what went wrong. I am going to try with one layer of crackers next time.

I think one layer of crackers would have been better. I thought I boiled it long enough, but it never set right. Ended up too grainy. Still, sugar and chocolate are always delicious no matter what!

I’m not sure where she got the recipe but she only made them the one time. I loved them!! I have looked for the recipe and asked around for years to no avail. When I saw this recipe I nearly jumped for joy…seriously! I made them two days later and they tasted EXACTLY as I remembered! Thank you a million times for this recipe! It will be made a lot! A friend of mine tasted them and has requested a whole pan of them!
