I’m excited to try these cookies for my father-in-law’s 80th birthday celebration. Oatmeal raisin are his absolute favorite and I’ve yet to find a receipt that checks off all my boxes — crispy edge, chewy center, not too goofy, not too thin, and memorable! Hoping these will do it. Guy’s review sold me! One question though… what type of oats do you use in these? There are so many varieties now — rolled oats, quick oats?

How no one has reviewed these before me is a mystery – theses are excellent and I never would have thought of making an oatmeal raisin cookie had it not been for my daughter. Couldn’t find the pricey Muscovado sugar so I made some myself!
