Description

Bake these brownies and give them as gifts to your loved ones. These are really good. I have to confess that these are high in calories, so make these a special treat!

Ingredients

  • 200 grams Dark Chocolate Bar
  • 175 grams Unsalted Butter
  • 200 grams Sugar
  • 50 grams Cocoa Powder
  • 100 grams Plain Flour
  • 4 whole Medium Eggs
  • 100 grams White Chocolate Bar

Preparation

Break dark chocolate bar into pieces and melt.

Preheat oven to 200ºC (400ºF) or 180ºC (355ºF) fan. Line an 8-inch” or 20cm shallow round cake tin with kitchen foil or baking parchment. You can also use a shallow 20cm square tin.

Melt butter and combine well with melted dark chocolate, sugar, cocoa powder, flour and eggs.

Chop white chocolate bar and add. (You can also use half white and half milk chocolate if you prefer.)

Pour mixture into prepared tin. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or as needed depending on tin size. Turn off heat and leave brownies in until oven cools, approximately 20 minutes. Remove from oven and turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Make sure you slice the brownie only after it has completely cooled down. I have found that overnight cooling works better and it tastes better the next day. Enjoy!
