Mmmm! So good! I used fresh ground espresso instead of instant coffee and topped with jimmies The cookies were light and soft and the frosting was sweet and buttery!

I left a review last week and just wanted to add that everyone LOVED the cookies. I made another batch over the weekend and added the icing to take to a brunch Sunday and everyone there raved about them as well! Great recipe – these will definitely be a go-to recipe for me – with and without the icing!

I just made the cookies (no coffee icing since they are for my son’s pre-school class tomorrow) and they are fantastic. Soft, chewy perfection. Thanks for a great recipe!

I made just the coffee icing and it was great!
I used instant espresso powder instead of instant coffee ( I do not know the flavor difference). I put the frosting on top of white cakey cookies. It was tasty! Thanks!

These sound so good. I’ve never seen a coffee frosting recipe that didn’t call for chocolate. Believe it or not, I am actually married to, and have given birth to, persons who aren’t that crazy about chocolate and do like coffee. Thanks for submitting this recipe!
