I found myself in the same dilemma — a strawberry cake mix in the pantry, bought for who knows what reason? — and a need to bake cookies for a potluck. I searched and found this recipe. So glad I did.

I made the cookie balls approximately 3/4-inch to 1 inch in diameter, and I got far more than 24 cookies out of it. Between 3 and 4 dozen, I would say. The cookies went over well at the potluck. Their pink color makes them a natural for Valentine’s Day, or they would be nice to serve at a tea party. I will definitely bake these again.
