I was searching for a quick and easy recipe to make the other day and came across this. It was WONDERFUL!!! This has now joined my favorite dessert recipes, and my family loved it. Easy AND delicious… that’s a great combo!

I was looking for a quick and easy recipe to use up some rhubarb that I’ve had in my fridge and some strawberries that were going bad. This was AWESOME. It tastes delicious hot (in fact, I even burnt my tongue tasting it early since it smelled so divine!) with ice cream and good at room temp too. I have to admit though that I forgot to add the vanilla to the syrup and I didn’t miss it at all.
