My mom made these...twice already! Tastes just like snickerdoodle cookies!

She did make a small change...sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on the bottom of the cupcake liner, scoop in a little dough, sprinkle cinnamon and sugar, scoop in a little dough, etc., until filled, ending with cinnamon and sugar on top. Cinnamon and sugar is then swirled throughout the cupcake.

I don't think there could ever be too much cinnamon and sugar!!!

Yummy!

I made these today and I had a bit of a disaster on my hands.

6 minutes into baking there was smoke billowing out of my oven! I've come to the conclusion that using my ice cream scoop made muffins that were too big. With baking powder, baking soda and cream of tartar these muffins rose to the occasion! Make them small. Fill only half way...they will rise, trust me. The ones that did make it were absolutely delicious. I'm going to try this one again later this week, but I'm going to find a different scoop to fill the muffin tin.
