Made it at lunchtime and cooked it after dinner. Oh, my goodness it’s yummy! We had to use whole milk as we’d used up our cream and it was still wonderful! We didn’t have the whiskey so just made it with vanilla and a tiny bit of almond extract. Still, sooo good! Thanks for a new favourite! I probably won’t bother with the sauce at all next time and just put whipped cream on.
