try a little vegetable shortening in the jars before you fill them.

Cori, I made these for my birthday and used 8-oz jars. They were great but being the first time we didn’t measure the portions right and had some way to full and others not enough. But my question is, the glass was “dingy” looking, definetly not as clear as yours. What did I do wrong?

Yes, that’s the easiest way to do it. I put about 12 jars on each baking sheet

I have also done chocolate cake in a 9 x 13 baking dish and cut it into cubes then layered into the jar parfait style with vanilla cream in the middle and chocolate frosting. Yum!

4oz jars are closest to cupcake size but I have also used 8 oz jars. I can make 24- 4 oz. jars with one box of cake mix. Filling half way to keep the batter from spilling over the edges in the oven.
