I made them for a colleague’s birthday and they were a huge hit. Recipe is easy to follow and the balance is perfect. The cupcakes aren’t cloyingly sweet and the tea-infused frosting is brilliant. Super easy to follow recipe and they all turned out beautifully – even the ones that had to sit and wait to go in the oven. The frosting was perfection – I used Bombay Chai tea from revolution tea and it was just the right amount of spice. The recipe makes more than enough frosting – I layered it on thick with a piping bag!
