As far as pecan pie goes, this was really good. I couldn’t get anyone else to eat it……..more for me!

I have searched and searched for a perfect Pecan Pie Recipe. Over the years it seems like I’ve tried hundreds! I made this one last night and sent some to work with my hubby today. He called and said..”Stop the search, this one is perfect!” Can’t get a better recommendation than that!

I was one of those that had to cook it for 75min! I wonder if it is because I am at a high altitude. Also mine bubbled over a lot. Still tastes great though especially served with the Whiskey Cream Sauce.

I am a pie novice so I tried this hoping that it would be easy to make and come out tasting delicious…I was right! This pie is super easy to make and so yummy although super sweet so little pieces go a long way! Everyone raved about it.

This pie was sooo good and easy. I used a pillsbury pie crust, dark karo syrup and omitted the brown sugar. I chopped the pecans with food processor and also mixed the filling in the processor, easy clean-up. It did require 70 minutes in oven. Will make again and again!!!

I used this recipe to make my first pecan pie for Thanksgiving. The four people at dinner who would eat pecan pie all said it was the best pecan pie they had ever had! It did take closer to 75 minutes of baking in order for it to be done. I just kept pulling it out and jiggling it around. When it didn’t jiggle that much I knew it was done. YUM!
