		<description><![CDATA[Thanks for posting these, mom!  i haven&#039;t made them in a long time because the karo syrup thing hasn&#039;t caught on in the UK.  I decided to try them with some substitutions.  In place of karo syrup, I used a malted syrup (made with corn and barley) that I found at the health food store.  I had brown crisp rice cereal from another project so replaced the rice crispies with that.  And I only had organic natural peanut butter so used that too.  The frosting was made just as written!  They tasted just as I remember them!  While I wouldn&#039;t go as far as to call them &#039;organic healthy snacks,&#039; the variation in ingredients wasn&#039;t a problem.]]></description>
