These are a family staple now – lovingly known as “breakfast cookies”! Love the texture, the flavor, and the fact that they are not over-the-top sweet. I always double the recipe, and usually add in a bit more oatmeal. I love the m&m and pretzel mix-in idea from another reviewer!

These cookies were so soft and delicious, and stayed fresh for days; my only advice would be to double the recipe for more cookies! I was only able to get 15 out of the original recipe.

Such easy cookies to put together (we had everything in the pantry already) and if the taste of the cookie batter is any indication of how these will taste after they are baked, these may be the best cookies I have ever eaten!
After baking-yep, these are definitely awesome cookies. Even my 2 year old said “Wow mom. Good cookies!”.

These were good, but not the best. I think I would use my peanut butter cookie recipe next time and just add oatmeal and chocolate chips. Or maybe add peanut butter pudding mix to the dough? Don’t get me wrong- the cookies were good, as I polished off 4 of them! Thanks for sharing this solid recipe!

AMAZING cookies!!! I made these last night to bring to work today, and I know I’ll be keeping this recipe for years to come! The cookies are not only delicious in flavor, but they’re soft too. I used chocolate chunks instead of chips. They turned out wonderfully.
