I added about 1/2 cup of each chopped walnuts and sliced almonds and I made them as cookies rather than bars. I made this for a quick weeknight get-together. I love the flavors, and the mix of textures. I like chocolate… a lot… so I added some mini chocolate chips in the batter, and I’m glad I did, because I think I would have been disappointed if I hadn’t. Good, easy recipe.
