WOW this has become a definite ‘go-to’ for something quick and delicious! I’ve been experimenting with adding different flavorings to the cream cheesey toppings too; very yum!

At Trebeards in Houston, they call this Butter Cake. I begged for the recipe, and I love making it for friends and family. It is oh so yummy!!! Luckily it’s so rich, you can’t eat the whole pan…but you’ll want to.

You can mix up this recipe and make the base chocolate cake and mix peanut butter with the cream cheese. Also mix some pumpkin in with the cream cheese. I know why they are gobbled up quickly.
