I adjusted the times to 4:15 for first two rounds and 75 sec for the last. I added almost 1 Tbsp butter too. I love the airy texture and just almost over cooked for the deep browned sugar taste. Love it!! I'll never go back to stovetop peanut brittle.

Pretty good! Really need to watch it while cooking, though. I was helping my daughter with homework while cooking this, so for the first batch I followed the directions to the letter, putting it in the microwave each time for the exact time stated in the directions. It was BURNED!!! I made it again, this time knocking off a little time (I can’t remember now how much). It turned out pretty good, though I still thought the peanuts tasted a tad burned. I waited 30 min. and then tried to break it apart, it was pretty hard. It actually tasted better the next morning.

*Update*
I made this a third time. I put the sugar/syrup in the microwave for 4 min. Took it out, stirred it, and put it back in for 1 min. I took it out, added the peanuts, stirred it all up, and put it back in for 2 min. I took it out, added the butter and vanilla, stirred it all together, and put it back in for 1 min. This worked marvelously. The only reason I didn't give it 5 mitts is b/c it itsn't quite as good as Bev's Best Brittle which I had the privelege of tasting at the Incredible Food Show in Oct.
