I’ve used devil’s food and a regular chocolate cake mix. The first time I made it I added 1/2 cup of chopped hazelnuts. I didn’t use nuts this last time, but I prefer it with the nuts! I baked closer to 50 minutes. It’s been a huge hit both times I’ve made it! Thanks for sharing.

I used a Triple fudge cake mix – in stead of Devil’s food and this cake is sinful. I saw several guests go back to nibble the cake again and again. I gave it 4 mitts because even though it’s absolutely scrumptious, it’s loaded with things I shouldn’t eat. I will make this again for friends and family.
