This recipe can be doubled for a 9 x 13 pan!

I just made this recipe tonight and it was SCRUMPTIOUS! (The only change I made was substituted peaches for the nectarines.) Now that I’ve tested this delicious concoction on me and my hubby, I’m ready to share it with friends and family! Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe!

This was fantastic! It was really easy to make and delicious! I do not like crumble/betty topping, and I do not care for pie crust. This cobbler topping was almost like a cake, but so much better! The edges got a little crunchy like a cookie. SO GOOD!

I used an 8×8 pan and there was definite overflow. If you use an 8×8 be sure to put it on a cookie sheet to prevent a mess in your oven.

I have a nectarine tree with hundreds of teeny tiny fruit. I was specifically looking for a recipe that I could leave the skin on the fruit. All the flavors blended well together and it was even better the next morning. Yes, I ate it for breakfast.

Wonderful. I subbed some of the milk with vanilla extract. My family ate pretty much the whole cobbler in one sitting.

I made this last weekend, and cooked it in a 9″ round cake pan. After layering the nectarines on top, I had a bad feeling about it overflowing (I guess there’s not much difference between a pie pan and round cake pan volume-wise!), so I put it in the oven on a cookie sheet. Sure enough, it overflowed, but my daughter had fun eating the crunchy “cookies” that resulted from it!

And, the cobbler was delish and every little bit was eaten up. I’ll definitely make it again, just using a bigger pan next time!

I made this cobbler last night and it was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. I’m always hesitant to try new cobbler/pie recipes because my family and I are all such pie snobs! But when I saw this recipe, I was intrigued by the idea of not having to make a pie crust. I’m SO glad I decided to try it. It’s exquisite and I’m already printing out copies to hand out to all of my coworkers. Thank you!

I made this today, and it was fantastic. The browned butter made all the difference. I also liked that this wasn’t a typical method, and that it WORKED. I was concerned about leaving the skin on the nectarines, but it turned out just fine. Thank you for a great recipe!
