I am a devotee of the World’s Best Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, but if I made them all the time, we’d eat them all the time, and bad things would happen. So I decided to make this as a special dessert treat one night (that would only last one night!). I’ve definitely enjoyed other DessertForTwo recipes. Unfortunately for us, this cookie didn’t turn out as perfect as we had hoped. The texture was sandy and crumbly and we prefer dense, chewy cookies. It definitely tasted like a chocolate chip cookie and was easy to whip up in a short period of time. In the future, I think I’ll stick with keeping the World’s Best Chocolate Chip Cookies in the freezer and baking a couple for us from time to time. (if we can refrain from eating the dough patties raw…) Thank you for taking the time to share your recipes!
