I made this tonight, and for some reason my pineapple won’t stay on the cake. Is that supposed to happen? Like the batter didn’t integrate with the pineapple chunks, they are just kind of sitting there on top. It tastes awesome, though.

Easy to make. Lots of butter. But maw-maw sure had a sweet tooth. So do I and I actually couldn’t finish my serving. Lots of sugar.
