She and my step-dad loved them. I wasn’t sold, but I liked them. I made the icing at half strength by doubling the powdered sugar etc. and leaving the lime etc. the same.

I used lime juice instead of margarita mix, and made a white cake from scratch instead of box mix. And with the tequila I added a splash of contriou.
The finished product got pretty good reviews, I’ll keep tweaking the lime juice/tequila ratio just to play with the flavors. But it’s will be a repeat recipe for me!
