I call my business Konditorei Kessel (confectionery kettle) There is a story there and I can tell you that another time. I make mostly caramels and anything that has to do with caramels. I just started adding baked goods. I look for anything that has a German theme. I just made Martha Stewarts recipe for Stollen…it’s in my freezer for a party next week. I’ll take it out and frost it and see how it tastes….Thanks for your interest!

I made this recipe yesterday. OH YUM! I love dates…so much about them says “Holiday” The cookies are safely tucked away in my freezer for now. During the holidays I have a small candy making business with a German theme. This would be a great addition to my creations.

I remember seeing that movie at Shield’s Date Farm in the Palm Springs area….mmmm date shakes….yummy!
I’ve got a box of dates from there in the freezer just waiting for holiday baking.
