Absolutely fantastic. If you love key lime pie you will LOVE this cake. May it the first time for friends for her birthday. In the process of making 2nd one for my neighbor’s birthday. Definitely “tart & tangy” but oh so yummy!

Terrific! Next time though I would only use half of the sugar bath and half of the frosting.

I made this wonderful cake for a Christmas 2009 get together. It was well recieved and I was requested to bring it for Christmas 2010. I made the candied lime. It was a bit time consuming but added so much to the presentation. I could have easily halved the quanity of frosting and still had plenty. As it was, I used the remainder on sugar cookies. This cake was a yummy delight!

Oh my goodness!!! The cake alone was wonderful but when you put the sugar bath and frosting on, it is heaven on a plate. Incredibly delicious!!! (I had to bake mine for 85 minutes and also used only 1/2 recipe of frosting which was plenty.)

I made this cake for a Christmas Eve dinner party. It got rave reviews and I was requested to bring it again next year! Like other reviewers, I will make half as much frosting next time. It was very moist and tangy. I love it!
