This pie is AWESOME! It was a huge hit AND it travels very well when frozen.

My son wanted a chocolate peanut butter pie for his birthday and this was just perfect.

And I hate it when you read recipe reviews and the reviewer changed a bunch of things… so I only changed one thing. I only added an 8 ounce container of cool whip. After I put the first one in and tasted it, it was so perfect that I just couldn’t imagine another whole container in there. I also chopped up some peanut butter cups and sprinkled on the bottom before adding the filling. Trader Joe’s sells some mini peanut butter cups that would be perfect for this pie.
