Made these yesterday! They came out delicious. I must have made mine bigger because I only got about 55 cookies. Added some Anisette into the frosting because I love that taste. They are awesome!

Really yummy - a fun new cookie for us - I had to use an extra heaping 1/2 C four to be able to work the dough but then it was perfect. I used vanilla and almond extract and I got a little over 100 yay :) Thanks for the recipe!

My italian grandmother (who recently passed away) used to make these. Her favorite flavor to make was with lemon extract. Sometimes she would shape them in rings and call them "ring a lings" .

I'm going to make these for a Marching Band competition next weekend. I think I'll use vanilla to keep all 190 members happy and use the school colors for the non pariels!

Made these last night. I didn't have anise extract (not a very big fan of it), so Iused vanilla extract instead. They were still really tasty! Thanks for sharing!

Made these last night, but subbed 1 tsp. almond extract, and 1 tsp. vanilla into the batter--the result was a tasty little cookie with just a hint of almond. I added a splash of the almond extract in place of some of the milk for the glaze--delicious. Took them into work with me today, and they've big a big hit for such a little cookie!

My kids and I made these yesterday. They are easy and delicious. I made mine a little big, next time I will definitely roll them to about a 1/2 inch. I used anise because it's the yummiest stuff ever! But I see lots of variations in extract, frosting color and sprinkles in our future. Fun for kids to do the dipping and sprinkling.
