Most of my time was taken with coring, peeling and chopping the apples. Smelled great while it was baking, and tasted great once it was out of the oven. Even better with vanilla ice cream melting on it!

It came out of the oven smelling fantastic and tasted even better. I used fresh nutmeg instead of jarred and I think the quantity could be cut in half to 1 tsp. There was a little left over and it was even better the next day because all the flavors had melded. and because of all the apples in it, it was very moist. Yummy!
