I grew up on this cake! We called it Strawberry Shortcake because we always had so many strawberries! But instead of whipped cream, we just poured milk over it and slurped it up! It’s a wonderful cake and I think my grandma used to mix up the extracts she used, maybe lemon or almond. Was delicious anyway it came. Good memories! Try this Cake!!!!
