I loved these! The cupcake itself was light and fluffy and I’m picky about chocolate. The only thing I did different was add a little cinnamon to the icing for a kick!

These were so simple to throw together, adorable, and tasty. Instead of unsweetened cocoa powder, I used a packet of hot cocoa mix to really give it that hot chocolate flavor. I did the same for the frosting and I also filled the middles with marshmallow cream. They were a hit with all who tried them. I will definitely be making again.

These cupcakes were delicious and this recipe is easy to follow. I had to add another tablespoon of milk to the frosting to get it to the right consistency.

Decorating them with mini marshmallows and chocolate shavings is such a cute idea and everyone raved about them.
