LOVE this dessert. Reminds me of being a kid because my mom made this for every potluck we went to! Easy and so tasty! I love making this!

These are a staple in my hometown of St. Louis. Now that I am living in Michigan they are no where to be found. I am so glad that I have found this recipe! These are so wonderful. My family just absolutely loved them.

Yes, it was supposed to be 8oz. Must have gotten lost in translation – 1 oz would not be nearly gooey enough. Sorry about that!

I made these tonight and the filling part seems off, not enough of it. Does it need more cream cheese? Something else as a filler?
