These were great. I only made them to use up some black beans I have, but everyone really enjoyed them. Will be definitely making them again. Of course I didn’t tell my husband until afterwards that they were made with beans!

I have to admit, I couldn’t get past the thought that they were made of black beans. It’s all I could taste. I tried them on my hubby and neighbor and both said they tasted ‘different’, and not as you would expect a brownie to taste. My kids on the other hand, loved them and are eating them like crazy. Also, this recipe made 2 8×8 pans for me, not just one. *shrug* Based on my extreme dislike and my kids’ extreme like, I’ll rate this right in the middle.
