Yes – I ALWAYS have two over-ripe bananas sitting there waiting to be used and this is a completely delicious way to use them! Love, love, love the moist cake texture of these bars and they cut and serve beautifully, too. My daughter & son-in-law can’t have cream cheese so I do a simple brown butter frosting but this recipe is a true keeper. Thanks!!!

I baked mine in a 15×11 pan and darn near ran out of frosting (totally my own fault though – I kept sampling!). Took it to a meeting with some ladies tonight and was asked for the recipe. Chalk that up as success!

I can see where cooking this in a 13×9 pan would result in extra frosting, but extra frosting is never, ever a problem at my house

Great recipe! Great combo with the cream cheese frosting, but I agree with curlav13 – it did make alot of icing & more than necessary. The consistency isn’t quite like a bar, but more like a firm cake. Highly recommend!

These were very yummy. The recipe made too much frosting for my liking though and I ended up with 1/4 to 1/2 cup of extra. I also made mine in a 13X9 pan as I didn’t have one of the required size. I had to add a couple of minutes of cooking time but the bar portion was delicious with the frosting.

Very easy to make and tasted great. I’ve made twice, once in a 13×9 pan that I brought to work and then I halved the recipes and made in a round pan as a birthday cake for my daughters daycare. Will definetly make again!

Easy and delicious! This recipe is definitely a keeper. I added a little extra banana and did not use all of the frosting. They were perfect!

oh, yummy! I just put these out for some guys that were over helping my husband hang siding and shore up the foundation on our old farmhouse – they just disappeared! Definitely a recipe to keep handy, since I always have a couple bananas left, too.
