My best friend gave me her ice cream maker – she had only used it once. This was the first recipe I tried. I love vanilla bean ice cream and this is wonderfully easy & tasty. Perfect for a hot steamy 4th of July! Thanks!

Wow, very good and I am hard to please on homemade ice cream. Grew up with a Dad who could make the best ice cream in the world but this was OH SO GOOD!!!!

Yumm-oh! This is a fantastic base to add whatever mixins you want. I added mini chocolate chips with cherries. I didn’t have any vanilla bean so just added some vanilla and it was a little too vanilla-ee for me so next time I will make sure I have the vanilla beans on hand.

Made this twice in the last week and was told by both groups of people that is was the best homemade icecream ever. I added chopped Oreo cookies, but it’s delicious as just vanilla.
