I was short on the sour cream so I used another user's mistake and beat some softened cream cheese in with the sour cream. After I melted the chips in the microwave, I whipped them into the cheese/cream mixture. It's delicious!

This frosting is amazing! And only two ingredients... I have to admit, I was leery about this but after reading the other reviews, I decided to try it. I'm so glad I did. It literally melts in your mouth and has great flavor and texture.

Oh, man. This is so, so good. I think it tastes like chocolate cheesecake (especially right out of the fridge on a spoon...). I used milk chocolate, because I'm using this to frost cupcakes for my daughter's birthday party, and I wanted it to be plenty sweet. I think it's perfect. We've been dipping strawberries in in - heavenly.

I melted the chocolate chips until just smooth and creamy and then mixed the sour cream in with a whisk. So, so simple. It mixed perfectly smoothly, and the next day, it's still perfectly smooth and mixed. When it comes time to actually frost the cupcakes, I expect that I'll be able to spread or pipe it on as soon as I make it. I don't think I'll buy another can of frosting again... or try another frosting recipe! Love this!

Sooo . . . I wrote this review:
"MMM. It tasted good, however I had a hard time getting it to blend well. Still, I would use this again if I was in a frosting bind. Thank you!"

and then I realized I had used cream cheese instead of sour cream!! HAHA!! Cracking up at myself. It still tasted good, however it didn't blend well, I'm sure sour cream would blend up nicely. Good to know they both work.
