We, too, just keep going back for another one. I sometimes put crushed cashews (more likely to have those around than macadamia nuts) in with the white and milk chocolate chips – just delicious!!

Might have something to do with the temperature of the butter. I think the warmer the butter, the more the cookies “settle” as you said. I’m glad they still tasted good for you!
