This was a super moist cake and a big hit with everyone who tried it. I was a little disappointed that the Dr. Pepper taste wasn't really present in the cake itself so I used Dr. Pepper ice cream topping in the frosting to give it just a hint of that flavor. I made it in a bundt pan so I adjusted the baking time accordingly. Thanks for the recipe. It was super fun to make.

I followed the recipe that printed out...it states to bake for 20-25 minutes...which turned out to be 45 minutes once completed. Now looking back - it states you have 2 conflicting bake times. Definately won't make again....too sweet and it came out very dense and heavy!

I really enjoyed the flavor of this cake but I thought the frosting got very grainy after it cooled. The icing goes under the bottom of the cake as well. The frosting is very smooth while warm but has a very grainy texture when cooled. I just thought it maybe needed a smoother frosting, I'm just not sure how to achieve that...

Wonderful! I am usually nervous to make a cake from scratch. I seem to always have better luck out of the box, but this turned out great. The glaze makes this. I am not a huge fan of frosting, so this is perfect. Sweet, but good. And even with all the cocoa powder in this recipe, it is not too chocolately. I think this would make a great sheet cake recipe. Might try that next time.

I'm eating this right now. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate (yes I know, gasp/faint), but this is gooood. It is indeed way more moist than your usual cake - in fact it took twice as long to bake as the recipe claimed. This might just become my go-to recipe for brownies, since it's so ridiculously moist, and I tend to like brownies more like cake anyway. For the frosting, I halved the amount of butter, cocoa, and milk, and used 1 cup of confectioner's sugar. That gave me a light glaze rather than a true frosting, and it was not too sweet. Perfect.
