these were right out of the oven but quickly hardened and really didn’t taste great anymore. i tried decreasing the cooking time after the first batch but it did not seem to help.

My husband and I love these! I always double the recipe and put some in the freezer so I can pull them out whenever I am in need. They are AWESOME.

These were great! I was worried about the runny batter at first, but like they said… it thickens up just fine after a minute. The cookies were gooey and delicious – and even the batch I accidentally overbaked by a little turned out yummy.

Definitely the best chocolate cookie I’ve ever had. The edges are a little chewy, and the middle soft and yummy… totally delicious. They taste more like brownies than your typical chocolate cookie. I might try mixing in some white chocolate chips next time, or nuts. So easy to make, too!

AWESOME cookies! Next time we’re gonna make them with Reese’s Pieces. I agree with the other person who said they’re like brownie cookies. Almost like the edge of the brownies, which is my favorite part. Really, really good!

These are AWESOME! They are being devoured as I write!!

They were super simple to make (even if I did forget to melt the butter in with the chocolate – whoops! I just mixed it in with the super hot chocolate and it melted just fine) and are nice and chewy as well. I can see it also being a good chocolate cookie base for any number of mixed in items.

The dough was a little runny at first, I thought, for cookies, but after standing for a minute or so it thickened up and was very easy to work with.
