I brought these to a BBQ yesterday and they were a HUGE hit! If you like a little savory (or a lot depending on the amount of bacon you add) with your sweet than I would highly recommend these cookies.

The only change I had to make was that I added 3 tablespoons of bacon fat to get the smooth, glossy dough described. I was a little hesitant but the results were so worth it that I will not think twice if I have to add that much the next time.
