DELICIOUS. Definitely one of those desserts that is dangerous for me to have in my fridge. I usually have a little extra that won’t fit in my pie crust. I may or may not be guilty of eating it straight out of the tupperware with a spoon. Just sayin’.

My daughter wanted chocolate pie for her 17th birthday and this is the one we tried. Oh MY! We all thought this was fantastic and even better the second day.

I made this for Thanksgiving. Everyone told me it was the best chocolate pie they have ever had. It is very rich – perfect in small bites.

This is a fabulous recipe! I’ve made it and called it chocolate mousse. I put Bailey’s in it on St. Patty’s Day and called Bailey’s Chocolate Mousse. It’s very dark-chocolatey rich. Perfect with wine. Or Irish whiskey. Just sayin’.

I’ve made this pie twice in the last week! I put my own twist on it and added slightly less than a shot of espresso to the mixture. It’s a very rich pie – cut small pieces and use lots of whipped cream.

The second time I made it I nixed the pie crust, divided the mixture between 6 martini glasses, garnished it with a strawberry and whipped cream and called it “mocha mousse”. My girlfriends loved it and I am a hero! Heroine? Really popular with my friends now?
