My husband talked me into buying a huge bag of dates from Costco (umm.. yeah ..) So I needed to do something because on my own I’ve only managed to eat 1/4 of the bag. I substituted macadamia nuts and made half the recipe. These came out superb. Although I did add kosher salt to both the date mixture (just a good size pinch) and the crust/topping. I’ll be serving it at my tea party tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe!
