LOVE these! My sister and I are big fans of nutella, so I was super excited to try this recipe. They turned out great! It is actually a simple straight forward recipe so everything comes together quick. We've added these to our regular cookie line-up.
At first, it seemed to take a long time to spoon out each teaspoon drop of dough, because yes, you do not want a dough ball bigger than that for these delecate cookies. Therefore, I have learned my lesson and went out and bought a little tiny teaspoon size cookie scoop, worth it.
Also, I warm the nutella via double boiler to make it easy to spread.
Thank you for the recipe!

These are the best cookies ever. So easy to make and such a crowd pleaser.
The first time I made these, I had to make two batches, because the first one was gone before I even finished my cookie.
They are now my families favorite cookie (which says a lot because my husband doesn't really like Nutella, until now!).

The tale of two batches.....

Batch 1 forever to be known as "Test" batch was fun and easy to make and if the tester aka ME had paid close attention to the following intructions " drop 1 teaspoon of dough " on the paper "Test" batch could have been forever known as the best batch of cookies I have ever made....instead that honor goes to Batch 2 forever to be known as the cookies that were gone in less than 20 mins and loved by all!

These cookies are easy to make but beware if you scoop more than 1 teaspoon they spread way much and are so fragile they break no matter how gentle you are. And while Nutella is a gift from the gods even it can't save them. (But that didn't stop me from trying.)

Bottom line: Make them, LOVE them.

I made these last night. They are amazing! they whip up really fast which is great if you need something quick. It also makes a ton which is great because you'll eat a bunch before anyone else gets them.

They're like an Ikea cookie and a Pepperidge Farm Brussle cookie mixed. But better because they're fresh and you can put more chocolate in the middle.

Next time I *might* try and knock down the sugar by adding either more oats or flour. Thought its a tad sweet it is a cookie and I can't stop myself from screwing with recipes.
