Didn’t add the nuts, and used half chocolate chips, and half mini M & M’s. Turned out great, and the M & M’s added a nice bit of color.

So delicious! These simply disappeared. I had to make them twice — the first time as the recipe states (AMAZING) and the second time with a couple of substitutions. I substituted milk chocolate chips since I was out of semi-sweet, and added an equal amount of whole cornflakes since I was out of walnuts. The saltiness of the extra cornflakes cut the sweetness of the milk chocolate, and these cookies were extra crispy and chewy. Just a fabulous recipe. I want to try them again with raisins — perhaps chocolate-covered raisins. The mind boggles. GREAT recipe — just make them.

Really great recipe. Easy to cut in half if you want a smaller batch. I love the texture and level of sweetness…some cookies are too sweet and these are perfect! Thanks for sharing.

These are one of the most delicious cookies I’ve made recently! (and I make a LOT of cookies!) I decided to whip up a batch after dinner tonight and I was glad I did. I added everything right down to the walnuts and I have to definitely recommend that, they add another level of crispiness to the finished product that just compliments the finished product. I can’t say enough about these little discs of deliciousness! A must try!
